Our family has lived in Tampa Bay for over 40 years. We opened Rest Recovery because we wanted one place in Tampa where you could cold plunge, float, sit in an infrared sauna, and get compression therapy without driving across the city.
How It Started
We’re parents and longtime residents. The recovery tools that athletes rely on were scattered or unavailable in Tampa. We tried them ourselves over the years, and the results were real enough that we built a studio around them.
What We Use
Cold plunge sharpens focus faster than anything else we’ve found. Float therapy is the only place either of us has found genuine quiet. Infrared sauna became part of our weekly routine after the first month.
